February 15—In the first round of the GHSA AA State Basketball Playoffs at the Parsons-Reid Gymnasium Friday night the VHS Lady Indians defeated Jefferson County 68-27.

The Lady Indians led 15-4 after the first period, 30-14 at the half. In the second half Vidalia outscored Jefferson County 38-13 to get the win.

Dresden Clark scored 28 points with 23 in the second half. Jashiyah Jones added 11 points.

The Lady Indians advance to the second round and will host Banks County who defeated South Atlanta Wednesday at 6PM.
