Toombs County Schools has once again been recognized by the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts with the Award of Distinction for Excellent Financial Reporting for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

This marks the third consecutive year Toombs County Schools has earned the prestigious recognition. The award is presented to organizations that submit quality financial statements and supporting documentation in a timely manner, receive an unmodified audit opinion, and comply with all Transparency in Government Act requirements.

This recognition reflects Toombs County School System’s continued commitment to strong financial management, accountability, responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources and excellence for all.
