Two Washington County men have been arrested and charged in association with the death of a pedestrian.

Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran reports that 61-year-old Randall Waters was struck and killed Saturday night while walking in the 500 block of Waco Mill Road.

Arrested and charged in Waters’ death was Derrion Daquan Yorker, age 22. He was taken into custody shortly after the accident at a residence on West Brown Drive in Davisboro.

Yorker is charged with felony hit and run with serious injury, homicide by vehicle in the first degree, failure to maintain lane (a misdemeanor), and speeding.

Following Yorker’s arrest, law enforcement took Isaiah Kelik Tarnver, also age 22, of Davisboro into custody. He is charged with felony harboring a fugitive.

The incident remains under investigation and additional charges and arrests may be pending according to Sheriff Cochran.
