The hearing scheduled for Middle Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Robert Reeves that was scheduled to be heard by the Judicial Qualifications Commission of Georgia and live streamed online, didn’t come to fruition this week.The hearing was to begin on Monday, June 17, and anticipated to conclude on or by Thursday, June 20.
A statement on the Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC) of Georgia’s webpage simply states stated the hearing had been canceled and if any subsequent public hearing is needed, it will be set by the JQC. There was no further explanation given as to why the hearing was cancelled.
On November 16, 2022, The Judicial Qualifications Commission filed formal charges against the Judge, listing 58 counts of alleged judicial misconduct.
