January 3—The Vidalia Indians traveled to Swainsboro Friday night and split with the Tigers in a pair of region contests. The Indians lost to the Tigers 68-39 and the Lady Indians defeating the Lady Tigers for the second time this season 62-45. 1 4 20 Wardlaw

The Indians fell behind early and trailed 20-8 after the first quarter and 37-14 at halftime. The Tigers improved on their lead and led 59-31 after the third period. Marc Wardlaw led Vidalia in scoring with 11 points. Ty Dalley added 9 points. Vidalia falls to 11-5 overall and 3-3 in Region 2AA.

The Lady Indians continue to play well this season and jumped out to an early lead 15-3 after the first period and 29-17 at the half. Vidalia outscored Swainsboro 20-11 in the fourth quarter. Jashiya Jones led the Lady Indians in scoring with 26 points. The Lady Indians go to 12-3 and 6-1 in region play.1 4 20 JJ Jones
