September 10—The RTCA Lady Crusaders defeated Trinity Christian 3-2 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game.  The game was tied at two with the Lady Crusaders batting in the bottom of the fifth when Tori Wright singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. RTCA High School Crusaders pitchers struck out ten, while Trinity Christian sat down eight.

Trinity Christian captured the lead in the second inning.

In the bottom of the third inning, RTCA tied things up at two. Wright singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Wright was in the pitcher's circle for RTCA. She surrendered two runs on two hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one.

RTCA racked up nine hits. Ellie Graham, Wright, and Charlee Ely each managed multiple hits the Lady Crusaders.  Graham went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits.
