May 29--  The United Way of Toombs, Montgomery and Wheeler Counties held its 26th annual golf scramble last week to raise money for community service agencies in the three counties.

United Way Executive Director Patricia Dixon estimates the tournament raised $15,000 and thanked golfers, sponsors and volunteers for their support along with Dennis Donahue who served as the tournament director for the second year.

Ingley, Winskie and Somers also won the scramble last year with Hunter Brown rounding out the foursome.
