January 10-- The Vidalia High School Swim Team has been busy the past three months competing in meets at Camden County High School Kick-off, The Pumpkin Plunge in Savannah, 16th Annual Coffee Trojan Invitational and the Ware County Invitational. The Indians have a meet this Friday in Savannah at the Savannah Country Day Invitational.

The team consists of four girls and three boys. In the meet this past Saturday in Douglas Jackson Crawley came in 2nd in the 50 yd. Freestyle with a time of 22.35, Chayton Tippett came in 8th with a time of 25.63 and Cole Register came in 16th with a time of 26.79. 100 yd. Freestyle Jackson Crawley came in 1st in the 100 Freestyle. 

In the Girls 200 Freestyle Bess Wilcox came in 8th. 50 Freestyle Rose Johnson came in 18th with Lilly Loosberg 21st and Jesslyn Collins 22nd.  In the 100 Freestyle Rose Johnson came in 12th followed by Lilly Loosberg at 13th and Bess Wilcox at 16th. The Girls team also competed in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Freestyle Relay coming in 9th.1 10 19 Swim Team

Jackson Crawley has qualified in the 50 and 100 Freestyle for the State Swim Meet at Georgia Tech, Feb, 7-9.  Crawley is the first swimmer in at least 11 years to qualify for State from Vidalia High School.
