For two years in a row and for the 4th time in 5 years, the Vidalia Heritage Academy Elementary Boys Cross Country Team has captured the GICAA State Title in Fayetteville, GA. 4th grader, Pearson O’Neal captured his second straight individual title and 5th grader Dylan Greene came in 8th. The Elementary Girls Team came in 5th. Led by coach, Amy Whited, it has been an awesome season for the Elementary Teams with the boys winning 1st place in all but one meet.

The girls won two regular meets and continued to improve throughout the season. In the same state title meet the Middle School Girls Team, led by Coach Beth O’Neal, placed 5th with Rebecca Proenza placing 6th individually. Both Pearson O’Neal and Rebecca Proenza had numerous first place finishes in regular meets throughout the season.

In addition, the Varsity Cross Country Teams have 9 runners advancing to the state championship in Macon this weekend.10 25 18 Pearson ONeal
