Dec.30-- Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Jean Wilson, age 72, of Lyons, Georgia, passed away early Friday morning, December 27, 2019, at Oxley Park of Lyons after an extended illness.

Pat was a native of Tennessee, living most of her life in Lyons. She graduated from college with a nursing degree and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a people person who loved socializing with anyone, as she had never met a stranger. Her passion in life was caregiving for her family. She was Baptist by faith.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Bruce Wilson and her son, Bruce Wilson.
She is survived by one daughter, Patti Thomas (Gary) of Evans; one son, Billy Wilson (Melanie) of Sylvania; three brothers, Vernon Fair Jr. of Tennessee, Packy Fair of Tennessee, and Tommy Fair of Tennessee; one sister, Joyce Stevenson of Tennessee and four grandchildren, Thomas Davis of Lyons, Victoria Austin (John) of Lyons, Baylor Rigdon of Evans, and Avery Rigdon of Evans.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Jean Wilson will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Toombs County Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Cofield officiating. A private family interment will follow at Lyons City Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at Toombs County Funeral home Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
