June 25-- Mr. Aubrey Braddy, age 87, of the Kibbee Community, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at his home, after an extended illness.

He was a native of Montgomery County, living in Kibbee all of his life and was a graduate of Kibbee High School. He was owner/operator of Braddy Oil for sixty years, owner of the former Braddy Ford in Soperton, Braddy Sanitation, Braddy Trucking and North Street Sales and Auction. He was a member of the Vidalia Old Primitive Baptist Church.

Aubrey was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Braddy Cannady; parents, Willie and Lucille Walker Braddy; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Mr. Braddy is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Janet C. Braddy; six children, Glenn Braddy, Linda Sue White, Jerry W. Braddy, all of Kibbee, Betty Braddy Robinson and husband Rob of Carrolton, Mike Braddy and wife Wanda, and Martha Braddy Garrett, all of Kibbee; one sister, Lucille Braddy Watson of Mt. Vernon; twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree and Pastor Owen Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Braddy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
