 Nov. 30-Dennis Wayne Brown, age 63 of East Dublin passed away on Wednesday evening, November 28, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Soperton Trinity Assembly of God.

Mr. Brown will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Minter Baptist Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Soperton Trinity Assembly of God.

Born in Fort Benning, GA he was the eldest of three sons born to Anna Ruth Cooper Brown and the late Wayne Edward Brown.

He and his brothers were raised in Jackson, TN where he was a graduate of Southside High School, Class of 1973. Mr. Brown had worked with the Central Gulf Railroad as a Roundhouse Supervisor, for many years as an over the road Truck Driver and most recently as a Groundskeeper at the Riverview Golf and Country Club in Dublin.

Dennis was a perfectionist; he loved camping, fishing, tinkering with anything mechanical and any activity that involved being out of doors.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his wife, Lynda, who passed away in 2015.

He leaves behind, three sons, Dennis Wayne Brown Jr. (Staci), Jackson, TN, Danny Brown (Amanda), Virginia Beach, VA, James Brown (Anna), Jackson, TN, two daughters, Amanda Warnock (Russ), East Dublin, GA, Heather Rutherford, Dublin, GA, two brothers, Norman Brown, Parsons, TN, Wesley Brown, Jackson, TN, fifteen grandchildren that were never considered grandchildren but children themselves; Kaleigh Rutherford, Cameron Thompson, Brent Thompson and several neices and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Cameron Thompson, Brent Thompson, Ken Kramer, Randy Kramer, Ryan Kramer, Skeeter Grizzard and Nathan Soles.

Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
