October 31--  The Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA) in Vidalia is preparing for a state accreditation meeting in January.  The academy serves students from the Vidalia, Toombs County, Montgomery County and Treutlen County school systems.

The SECCA board met with Dr. Lynn Plunkett who will help the academy staff and board prepare for a three-day on-site accreditation visit starting January 14 by a team from the Technical College System of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Education, the Charter School Division and other career academies in the state.
