October 29--  The August term of the Toombs County grand jury reconvened this month and returned 13 indictments.

1.  Tommy Davis was indicted for aggravated assault and cruelty to children for assaulting Dorothy Knight with a machete in the presence of a child under age 18 in a case investigated by Lyons police.

2.  Tommie Williams Hart faces theft by taking charges for stealing more than $25,000 from Onion City Motors in Lyons.

3.  Hunter Ethan Braddock was indicted for aggravated assault and battery under Georgia's Family Violence Act for strangling Georgeanna Tippett and beating her with a metal broom handle, according to the Toombs County Sheriff's Office.

4.  Jordan Carl Willis was indicted for possession of methamphetamine.

5.  Lisa Ownbey is accused of possessing contraband by an inmate by obtaining tobacco products for inmate William Harmon at Montgomery State Prison.

6.   Emma Anderson, Belinda Floyd and Quida Reynolds were indicted for possession of  cocaine, marijuana and a controlled prescription drug and for furnishing prohibited items to an inmate.

7.  Justin Evans, Carlea Foster and Huston Harvey are accused of possessing methamphetamine and furnishing prohibited items to an inmate.  Foster was also indicted for possession of marijuana.

8.  Telly Lamont Evans was indicted for obstructing Vidalia Police Officer Sarah Dodge.

9.  Alexie Harrison was indicted for aggravated assault and battery for cutting Amber Casella, according to Vidalia police.

10.  Gregory Rhymes, III was indicted for possession of marijuana and a controlled drug substance in Vidalia.

11.  Lamar Holmes McCall was indicted on two counts of theft by deception by passing bad checks to buy a vehicle from Woody Folsom Nissan.

12.  Briddarious Mills was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and for possession of methamphetamine, according to Vidalia police.

13.  Ricky Paul Williams is accused of child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to Vidalia police.
