July 11--  Twelfth District Congressman Rick Allen supports President Trump's nomination of Appeals Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court and believes he will be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Congressman Allen says the opposition Democrats and liberal media are mounting regarding the nomination is the same thing they've been doing since President Trump's election, "They are against anything that President Trump wants to accomplish.  The court should not be political, but it's gotten to be a big political football and they've made it that way.  You can't believe the opposition to what we're trying to do.  What's even more unbelievable is that we've gotten a lot done."

The incumbent congressman is urging Republicans and supporters of President Trump to vote for conservative candidates in November.  He is facing opposition in the 12th District and also believes a strong statewide turnout is needed to keep a Republican governor in Georgia, "It's going to be about turnout.  Their left-of-left base is motivated.  They do not like this President, so they are going to turn out.  Our folks have got to get out and vote.  If our folks get out and vote, we're going to be fine," he observed.
