June 8--  A Warner Robins company has won two bids for technology equipment in the Vidalia City School System.

Micro Technology Consultants will supply 52 75-inch interactive panels for $252,185.00.  Two other companies submitted lower bids, however, the school board voted for MTC because it said the brand offered by the company is already being used in the system with no operational problems.

The company will also provide 120 desktop computers and monitors for $111,663.60.  Three other companies submitted lower bids, however, the school board chose MTC because it is installing the technology infrastructure in the new high school.

Both contracts are being funded with sales tax revenue.
