October 10--  Authorities believe a University of Georgia freshmen intentionally drove his car into Taco Bell in Swainsboro in a crash that killed one person and injured six others.

copeMiddle Judicial Circuit District Attorney Hayward Altman says he doesn't know the motivation of 18-year-old Oliver Cope of Statesboro but has reason to believe it was intentional.

Twenty-three-year old Macy Lynn Mullis of Adrian died of injuries she suffered when Cope's Dodge Challenger crashed into the Taco Bell dining area September 28.  Two other people were critically injured and flown to Augusta for treatment.

In addition to felony murder, Cope is charged with four counts of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.
