Coach Mandy Godbee said, “The team was up to the challenge of competing with these larger schools.  Many of our athletes had to run in or compete in 5 events to be able to place in the meet.  They were all pretty beat up and tired by the time we got to the 4x400 relay but they attacked the race and ran it aggressively and fought through to the finish.  It was a day of mental and physical toughness and they all stepped up and exceeded expectations in true Vidalia Indian fashion.  These young men will continue to grow, improve and shine throughout the season and I am very thankful to be able to watch it all take place.”
