February 7-- The Vidalia Indian Wresting team qualified eight wrestlers for this weekends state tournament. “We’re excited about these guys qualifying, but also their draws on the bracket,” Coach James Ferry said. He continued, “This is when our scheduling pays off. We’ve traveled allover the state and have seen a majority of the teams that have qualified wrestlers for this tournament. There are a few draws we feel very confident about.” Tahjah Watts (195) won his sectional. Kaleb Cook (126), Elijah Thornton (145), Aldarreis Tillery (152), and Thomas Godbee (170) all reached the finals and placed second. Cory Braddy (138) placed third while Quadir Harris (132) and Austin Mazzeo (182) finished fourth.
