January 10—The Vidalia Indians swept rivals the Toombs County Bulldogs at home Tuesday night in a pair of Region 2AA contests. The Lady Indians won their first region game of the year 28-26 over the Lady Bulldogs. The Indians defeated the Bulldogs 66-28.

The Lady Indians trailed 11-12 at the half and led at the end of the third quarter19-18 and then outscored the Lady Bulldogs 10-7 in the fourth period.

Madison Taufmann led the Lady Indians in scoring with 10 points. 1 10 18 VHS Lady Indians

The Indians took control of the game early and never looked back. Vidalia had three players in double figures in scoring Anthony Jones with 15 points, Mark Wardlaw 12 points and Toriun Mull with 11 points.

Vidalia improves to 11-6 overall and 5-2 in region play. Toombs County falls to 1-13 overall and 1-5 in the region. 1 10 18 VHS BB 2
