December 16--  The Georgia High School Association wrapped up its state football playoffs Friday night at various venues around the state after most of the games were rescheduled from last weekend due to the snowstorm in Atlanta.

In Class A, Clinch County takes the public school title with a 21 to 12 win over Irwin County.

The double A championship goes to Hapeville Charter School with a 45-23 win over Rabun County.

In 4A, Blessed Trinity beat Marist 16-7.

Rome waxed Warner Robins 38-0 to win 5A.

Lee County downed Coffee County 28-21 in 6A.

North Gwinnett edged Colquitt County 19-17 in 7A.

In the two games completed last weekend at "The Benz," Calhoun beat Peach County 10-6 with a controversial call at the end of the game and the Single A-Private championship went to Eagle's Landing over Athens Academy 41-3.
