December 1-- Three straight wins for the Falcons have them as one of the hottest teams in the NFL; only five other teams have longer current winning streaks than our Atlanta Falcons. This week the Falcons face one of the best teams in the league in the Minnesota Vikings., who are riding a seven game winning streak and lead the NFC North by three games. The Falcons look to continue gaining ground on both the Saints and the Panthers who lead the NFC South.

The Vikings and Falcons have met 27 times previously, with the Vikings holding a 17-10 advantage, including two straight. The last Falcons win vs Minnesota came in November of 2011, a night that saw Matt Ryan throw for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Since the 1998 NFC Championship game that saw the Falcons upset the Vikings in Minneapolis, the Falcons are just 4-5 versus the NFC North squad.

The path to Minneapolis and Super Bowl LII continues this Sunday on the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network. We begin our coverage starting at noon with Countdown to Kickoff featuring Mike Conti & 11 year NFL veteran Randy McMichael. They will take you to the 1:00pm kickoff from Mercedes Bank Stadium where Wes Durham, Dave Archer & John Michaels will bring you all the play-by-play action on NewsTalk WVOP, AM 970 and FM 105.3.
