December 2--  The state football championship games are set in the Georgia High School Association following Friday night's Final Four games.

In Class A, Clinch County beat M. Zion 23 to 20 and will take on Irwin County in the Class A title game after Irwin edged ECI 38-35.  The championship game is Saturday morning, December 9th at 10 a.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and will be broadcast on Sweet Onion Country 1017FM.  John Pournelle and Jeff Raiford will have the play-by-play.

The Class AA game will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday between Rabun County and Hapeville Charter School.  Friday night Rabun County outscored Brooks County 23 to 12 while Hapeville downed Heard County by one touchdown, 28 to 21. The broadcast team of John Koon, Bucky Kennedy and Darren McClellan will provide the coverage.

In Triple-A, it's down to Peach County versus Calhoun.  In the semi's, Peach County downed Greater Atlanta Christian 28 to 23 while Calhoun edged Cedar Grove 14 to 6.
