November 27-- The Toombs County Bulldog Wrestling Team traveled to Brunswick Tuesday to take part in the Battle at the Beach hosted by Glynn Academy. The Bulldogs made a strong showing at the event despite a roster still depleted of football players due to the Bulldog football team’s great second round playoff run this year. Toombs began the day with a dual win over Yulee (Florida) 42-34. The Dawgs defeated Glynn Academy in the second round 54-18 before beating Richmond Hill B in the third 42-30. Toombs finished the day with a 51-18 win in the fourth. Toombs County finished with an undefeated 4-0 record on the day. Defending GHSA Class AA 120 state champion Ricardo Santana continues to plow over his competition with an undefeated record at the event. Heavy weight Rolando Tinoco also finished undefeated at the tournament. The Bulldogs will be back in action December 1st and 2nd as they travel to Jeff Davis to participate in the Yellow Jacket Duals, an event the Bulldogs have won the last four years consecutively.11 27 17 Toombs Wrestlers
