November 11—The J.R. Trippe Chiefs defeated the West Laurens Raiders 36-20 Saturday morning at Buck Cravey Field to win the Middle Georgia Middle School Conference Championship.11 12 17 Bryce Davis

The Chiefs jumped out to early 6-0 lead on a Darrell Brown 45- yard run with 6:55 left in the first quarter.

J.R. Trippe scored again on a 4-yard by Bryce Davis with the two-point try good to make the score 14-0 with 3:57 left in the first quarter.

West Laurens got on the board with 21 seconds remaining in the half on a Thompson to Farmer 20-yard pass. The two-point try was good to make the score 14-8.

Bryce Davis got the Chiefs on the scoreboard with just 9 seconds left in the first half on a great 51-yard run. Tate McDaniel kicked the two-point try for the Chiefs for a 22-8 lead at the half.

The Chiefs scored in the 3rd quarter on a Jacoby Washington 3-yard run. The McDaniel two-point kick was blocked to make it a 28-8 Chiefs lead.

Bryce Davis would score his third touchdown of the game on a 27-yard run with 7:51 left in the game for a 36-8. The try for two was unsuccessful.

West Laurens added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to make the final score 36-20 Chiefs.

The J.R. Trippe Chiefs finish the season undefeated at 8-0.
