October 27--  The Treutlen Vikings traveled to Wrightsville to face the Johnson County Trojans and lost their 7th straight game by a score of 49 – 21.  Trojan QB Brooks Norton threw for 351 yards and 7 touchdowns on the night.

Treutlen scored on their second possession of the night when QB Sabo Mitchell ran it in from 3 yards out with 2:15 left in the first quarter to give the Vikings an early 7 – 0 lead.  Johnson County answered just 28 seconds later when Trojan QB Brooks Norton hit WR Ty Cannon on a 22 yard TD pass to even the score at 7 apiece.

Norton threw 4 more touchdown passes in the second quarter, another to Ty Cannon, 2 to Branderious Rawlings, and 1 to Jeff Davis to take a 36 – 7 halftime lead.

The Trojans continued their aerial assault in the third quarter as Norton connected with Ty Cannon again for a 41 yard TD and with Jax Scott for a 75 yard touchdown pass to extend the lead to 49 – 7.

Treutlen got on the scoreboard again with 1:04 remaining in the third quarter when QB Sabo Mitchell ran for his second TD on the night with a nice 60 yard run up the middle.  Viking Sophomore RB James Byrd got his first touchdown of the year on a 19 yard run with 1:39 left in the game.  QB Trevor Byrd his TE Randon Hutcheson for the two point conversion to make the final score 49 – 21 in favor of the Trojans.
