July 24—Congratulations to ten-year old Aidyn Driggers of Tarrytown on winning the First Energy Rally Stock World Championship Saturday at the All-American Soap Box derby in Akron, Ohio. Driggers won the title by .02 hundredths of a second.

Tarrytown held a welcome home celebration for Aidyn Sunday evening where she was awarded the “Key to the City.”

Aidyn is the daughter of Ashley and Matt Driggers.

Cayson Hayes of Summerville, South Carolina also representing the Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby also won a World Championship Saturday in the Stock Division.

Hayes and Cassidy Martin each won World Championships earlier in the week in rally races for a total of four World Championships.

Also representing the Southeast Soap Box Derby Tucker Copeland came in a very respectable eighth place Saturday in Akron.
