May 11—The Toombs County Bulldogs are headed to the Final Four! The Bulldogs swept the Dodge County Indians in the GHSA Class AA State Baseball Playoffs Wednesday in Eastman.

Toombs won game one 6-3 and game two 3-2 in eight innings. D.R Meadows picked up the win in game one pitching a complete game five –hitter striking out five and no walks.

The Bulldogs won game two in the bottom of the eighth on a bases loaded walk-off hit by Cole Graham.

Toombs County has now won twelve consecutive games and will face the winner of the Rockmart and Jeff Davis series which starts their best two out of three series Thursday.
