May 9— Jesse Conley a senior at Vidalia High School signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to wrestle for the Barons at Brewton Parker College.

“It is close to home and BPC has a good wrestling program so why not get two birds with one stone. I like the coach and I know some of the wrestlers. They have a familiar wrestling style and are recruiting locally and have everything going in the right direction.” Conley said.

VHS Wrestling Coach James Ferry said, “We are extremely proud of Jesse especially about the opportunity to further his education. I know that his goal is to be a high school wrestling coach and teach at the high school level. Brewton Parker is a great teaching college my oldest son has a degree from there and I know that he will do a good job.”

“I saw Jesse at some of the local tournaments and I got to know him. He comes in now and works out with some of the starters. He is working hard and always trying to get better and that is one of the things I really look for in a wrestler especially in the off-season. “ BPC Wrestling Coach Tim Mitchem stated
