On Saturday, April 8th the Vidalia Heritage Academy middle school track teams traveled to Arlington Christian Academy in Fairburn to compete in the GICAA middle school track and field state championships.  The boys competed against 13 other teams and were able to place 2nd in the team competition.  Individual results are as follows:
100M: Jackson Williamson, 7th
200M: Jackson Williamson, 8th
400M: James Hutcheson, 4th
800M: Clay Morris, 8th
100M Hurdles: James Hutcheson, 2nd
4 x 100 Relay: Team 1:  James Hutcheson, Cason Banks, Clay Morris, Jackson Williamson, 3rd
Team 2:  Tate Sikes, Will Puckett, Jacob Thompson, Andrew Shepherd, 8th
4 x 400 Relay:  Cason Banks, Jackson Williamson, James Hutcheson, Clay Morris, 3rd.
High Jump: Jackson Williamson, state champion
Long Jump:  Jackson Williamson, 4th
Shot Put: Andrew Shepherd, 3rd
                Mason Beacham, 8th
Discus:  Andrew Shepherd, 4th
              Jacob Thompson, 7th
Girls:  400M: Rebecca Evans, 8th
