April 19-- The Lady Indians placed 2nd overall at the Region 2AA track meet. Teams attending; Vidalia, Jeff Davis, St. Vincent, Metter, Toombs County, Bacon County, Swainsboro and Bryan County.

Team A of the 4x100 meter relay team placed 2nd. Team consisted of Mahogany Johnson, Courtney Madison, Gabrielle Chambliss and Justyce Eason.
Team B placed 7th. Team consisted of Martasia Johnson, Jasmin Phillips , Chantelle Simpkins and Jala Murphy
Team A of the 4x400 meter relay placed 3rd. Team consisted of Courtney Madison, Mahogany Johnson, Justyce Eason and Natalie Owens.
Team B placed 6th. Team consisted of Ayawana Phillips, Chantelle Simpkins, Martasia Johnson and Dasia Williams.

Courtney Madison was named the girls high point athlete of the region meet.
Coach Hart Comments: I am very proud of the team for finishing 2nd in the region. They left everything on the track for each other. Everybody worked hard and poured their hearts out for each other while competing. We had a lot athletes advance to Sectionals on April 29th in Fitzgerald, GA. I am happy they finished strong. This is an extraordinary team!!!
