The other four Indians competing for Vidalia were Simon Minjarez (120), Elijah Thornton (152), Tahjah Watts (182), and Kaleb Matthews (106). Head wrestling coach, Dr. James Ferry commented, “We have many positives to take away from this tournament and this season. We qualified half our team for the state tournament with three others as alternates. The most we’ve had in Vidalia since Coach Chet Proctor put 12 in the tournament in 2002. We have a growing middle school and youth program. All but two; Conley and Jones; return next year. We have to put our nose to the grindstone and continue to grow and improve as young men, wrestlers, and Vidalia Indians. God bless and roll tribe." (L-R)Cory Braddy, Chris Jones, Jesse Conley
