July 3-- Mr. William Wesley “Bill” Glaze, age 87, of Vidalia, died Monday, July 2, 2018, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a sudden illness. He was a native of Augusta and lived there until moving to Vidalia in 1941. He retired from General Communications after thirty years and was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Sue Palmer Glaze; and two sisters, Barbara Glaze Holland and Jean Glaze Underwood.

Mr. Glaze is survived by one son, Will Glaze of Vidalia; two step-daughters, Angelina “Ann” Smith of McDonough and Teresa Diane Smith of Byron; six nieces and nephews, Barbara Lee Wilder, Joe Chancey, Roger Chancey, Cathy Alexander, Brian Underwood, and Cindy Maltby.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Albert White officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
