October 27-- For the third straight year, Vidalia High School has won the Region 2-AA One-Act Play competition.
The VHS production of the play Alice took first place in the region competition Thursday at Toombs County High School.
Carolyn Collins (L) was named to the All-Star Cast for her portrayal of the Chesire Cat and Hannah Conner (R) was also selected for her performance in the title role of Alice. Margaret Pournelle (center) is the school's drama director. The school also received honors for Best Set Design in the competition.
The cast will compete in state competition at Baldwin County High School in Milledgeville next Saturday, November 4.
You can see the region-winning production Monday and Tuesday, November 6-7, at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia. Tickets are $5 at the door. The curtain goes up at seven p.m.
