--Protesters gathered outside of Donald Trump's rally clashed with his supporters after his speech in San Jose, California. It was an ugly scene as protesters attacked Trump supporters as they left the rally Thursday night. Police reported only a handful of arrests.
--The Speaker of the House Paul Ryan announced that he is backing Donald Trump. The Speaker said there's an "understanding" between him and the presumptive Republican nominee. Speaker Ryan had previously withheld his endorsement expressing reservations about Trump.
--Hillary Clinton kicks it up a notch in her attacks on Donald Trump, calling him "temperamentally unfit" and his policies "dangerously incomprehensible."
--Trump was expected to respond to Clinton's swipes at his Thursday evening rally in San Jose.
--Trump's attacks against the judge presiding over the civil fraud lawsuits against Trump University take a racist turn.
At least five soldiers were killed....and the search is on for 4 others... after their vehicle overturned in floodwaters near Fort Hood Texas. 3 other soldiers were rescued.
As slow-moving thunderstorms continue to soak parts of Texas - bringing record-breaking flood levels - officials are urging residents to stay off the roadways. With more rain expected into this weekend and flash flood warnings throughout the state - Governor Greg Abbott telling Texans - 'don't risk your life.'
CHICAGO POLICE SHOOTINGS
The Chicago Police Department is getting ready to release as many as 50 videos of police shootings to the public. Police said they are trying to be transparent, but the videos could also upset the public - such as the one showing former CPD Officer Jason Van Dyke shooting Chicago teen Laquan McDonald 16 times. Now, under new policy, Chicago will release any videos of a police encounter within 60 days of the incident.
The May unemployment figures are released by the Labor Department.
After several weeks - officials in Minnesota have confirmed music legend Prince died from an accidental overdose of the powerful synthetic opioid, Fentanyl. The 57-year-old singer was found in an elevator at his estate in suburban Minneapolis on the morning of April 21st. As of now, authorities have yet to discuss how Prince came to be in possession of Fentanyl.
"Made me feel so bad. I mean..I'm not a bad person," says one of the Canadian tourists who hoisted a baby bison into their SUV at Yellowstone last month...The bison was then rejected by its mother and had to be euthanized. The tourist family spoke in an exclusive interview with ABC's Good Morning America.
--One of the Navy's elite Blue Angel pilots... is dead after his plane crashed and burned outside Nashville. Officials say his F/A 18 fighter jet burst into flames in a field, downing power lines and causing some outages in local homes. The pilot... was out on a solo practice run... ahead of the weekend's Great Tennessee Air Show.
--An Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 went down in Colorado Springs just after a flyover at the Air Force Academy where President Obama was in attendance. The pilot safely ejected and had a brief meeting with Mr. Obama less than an hour later.
A boat packed with roughly 300 refugees capsized in the Mediterranean south of Crete, Greek authorities told ABC News. In a massive search and rescue operation by the coastguard, 250 people have so far been saved. Five commercial ships, two Greek Coastguard vessels and a Greek air force plane are helping in the rescue effort, according to an official. It's unclear if there were any fatalities or serious injuries sustained.
The murder-suicide at UCLA is now a two-state investigation. Police say Mainak Sarkar left behind a "kill list" before gunning down professor William Klug. Also on that list -- The name of a second professor... who was off campus at the time... and a woman whose body was discovered Thursday -- with a gunshot wound -- inside her Minnesota home.

TX ANIMAL CRUELTY
Two Texas juveniles, charged with an unthinkable crime of animal cruelty....shooting one llama in the neck and beheading another. It happened back in March. The two are being charged with felony animal cruelty and misdemeanor trespassing.
