--The candidates will be in California, trying to rally support ahead of Tuesday's all-important primary.
--Hillary Clinton invoked the lawsuits against Trump University as she called Trump a "fraud" who's trying to scam Americans.  Trump's campaign posted a video featuring testimonials defending the now-defunct real estate program.
--Senate minority leader Harry Reid tells the AP it's time for Bernie Sanders to face reality and "do a little mathing." "Sometimes you just have to give up."

TX FLOODING
Authorities in Fort Bend County, Texas are warning residents of more dangerous flooding expected to hit the area southwest of Houston in the coming days. Slow-moving thunderstorms have already caused the Brazos River to swell to a record-high - leaving entire communities submerged. Officials say there have been hundreds of high-water rescues so far.  More rain is expected through the end of the week.

ZIKA
--A New Jersey hospital is treating a mother with Zika and her baby with the brain deformity it causes.   The baby girl was delivered prematurely at 35 weeks with microcephaly to a woman from Honduras who opted for better care in the United States. Doctors at Hackensack University Medical Center say it's too soon to say how long the mother will be treated and whether the baby will survive. 
--Medicaid can be used to cover mosquito repellent to prevent the spread of the Zika virus, federal regulators told state and private Medicaid officials in a letter.

UCLA SHOOTING
Classes will resume Thursday at UCLA, a day after a deadly shooting that put the sprawling campus on lockdown. Authorities say two males were found shot dead, in an apparent murder-suicide. A possible suicide note was found.

COREY JONES
A grand jury in Palm Beach County, Florida rules that the fatal shooting of a man on the side of the road last year was unjustified.  Corey Jones -- a musician -- had car trouble and was waiting for a tow truck in October ... when Palm Beach Gardens officer Nouman Raja pulled up.  Raja was not in uniform and was driving an unmarked van.  There was a verbal exchange ... then gunfire.  Raja has been charged with attempted first-degree murder ... and manslaughter by culpable negligence.

FREMONT SHOOTING

Two police officers in Fremont, California are recovering from injuries.  Few details released but police are saying it started with a traffic incident ... during which shots were fired.  The suspect fled on foot ... then shots were fired at a second location.  Police one officer was injured in each incident.

CINCINNATI ZOO
Anguish and fear are evident in the voice of the mother who called 911 last Saturday to report her 3-year-old had fallen into the gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. Police have released the emergency calls.

CO SURGICAL TECH
Federal officials confirm that a surgical technologist accused of swapping needles to steal powerful drugs from a Denver hospital has tested positive for HIV.  The Justice Department says Rocky Allen was indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver on charges of tampering with a consumer product and obtaining a controlled substance by deceit.

NBA FINALS
It's rematch of last year's Finals as the Golden State Warriors take on the Cleveland Cavaliers for the NBA Championship. The defending champion Warriors head into tonight's Game 1 after a tough series with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lebron James is making his 6th straight appearance in the NBA Finals.
