TX JAIL DEATH
Texas law enforcement have released the dashcam video of Sandra Bland's traffic stop arrest. Texas trooper Brian Encinia who conducted the stop has been taken off of patrol and put on administrative duties, while the case is under investigation. Bland was pulled over for failing to signal, then arrested and held in a jail cell for three days - where she was found dead.
FAA BIRD STRIKES
Regulators are reportedly considering whether airplanes need to be built to better withstand collisions with birds because of an increase in the population of Canada geese, pelicans and other species. The Federal Aviation Administration is asking airlines, manufacturers and the public whether costly new protections are needed amid the “significant population increases” from the types of birds that can damage a plane’s structure. The agency hasn’t proposed any specific changes so far.

The sentencing phase begins Wednesday in the murder trial of James Holmes.
A U.S. airstrike inside of Syria earlier this month has taken out a top terror target. Muhsin Al-Fadhli, a top figure in the Al-Qaeda affiliated Khorasan group, was killed while traveling in a vehicle near Shamarda, Syria. Al Fadhli is a long time Al Qaeda operative, known for participating in numerous terror attacks in the middle east. and U.S intelligence officials believe he was one of a very small number of people who had prior knowledge of the September 11th plot.
Bill Cosby's lawyers say his admission to using quaaludes in the 1970s doesn't mean he drugged and sexually assaulted women. His attorneys are also asking a court to not release details of Cosby's 2006 settlement in a sexual-battery lawsuit, which the accuser wants unsealed.
There's a growing fear that computer hackers can hijack cars. There's existing software that can enable someone to hack into your vehicle's computer system sending commands that control steering and braking.
- It’s officially war between Republican Presidential contenders Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham. Just hours after South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham called Donald Trump a “jackass,” Trump retaliated by reading Lindsey Graham's cell phone number into the microphone during a speech in South Carolina on Tuesday.
- Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who on Tuesday became the newest addition to the Republican presidential field, looked ahead to a potential general election matchup with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos, Kasich said the key to the race will be vision.
An appeals court vacated five convictions and threw out the sentence of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. The rest of Blagojevich's convictions were affirmed by the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago. He's been serving a 14-year prison sentence in Colorado, and will now have to be re-sentenced.
Teen pregnancies continue to decrease, they're having less sex and using more contraceptives, according to a new CDC report that suggests decades of educating teens has paid off.

Milwaukee police are on the hunt for a suspected mountain lion. A caller said they saw a "lion" at around 4 p.m. Monday. Officers checked the neighborhood but were unable to locate any loose animals. But video shot on a cellphone shows what could be a large cat walking through the area Monday.
CA LASER AT CHOPPER
In Bakersfield, California, a man has been indicted accused of shining a laser at a police helicopter. Prosecutors say 26-year-old Pablo Cesar Sahagun aimed a green laser pointer at Air 1 - the Kern County Sheriff's helicopter. Then when police tracked him down he had seven bombs. They call them cricket bombs -- improvised explosive devices that prosecutors say can kill someone. He could be looking at 15 years in prison if he's found guilty.
Best-known for "Ragtime," a panoramic novel of the turn-of-the-century, author E.L. Doctorow has died in New York City from complications of lung cancer. Doctorow was 84.
