July 6-- The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) and the Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Dublin will co-sponsor a career expo for veterans, college graduates and other area job seekers. The expo will be held Tuesday, July 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the technical college, located at 560 Pine Hill Road.    

The expo will feature more than 40 employers, educational institutions and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. The employers will be hiring or discussing future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs. The GDOL staff will be available to critique resumes for the job seekers. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.

Those expected to participate in the expo include: Bank of Dudley, Corrections Corporation of America CCA-Alamo, Dinex Emission Inc., Erdrich USA, Etcon, Fairview Park Hospital, Flexsteel, Georgia Fatherhood Program, Division of Child Support Services, Georgia Department of Corrections-Milledgeville, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Farmer's Furniture, Geotechnical & Environmental Consultants, Inc., Gilmer Company, GovStriv, Hancock State Prison, Heart of Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA), Home Depot, Johnson State Prison, Manpower, Nordson Corporation, Parker Aerospace, SP Fiber Technologies, Spherion Staffing, Telfair State Prison, The Big Green Sign Company and Three Rivers Home Health Services.
