NY PRISON BREAK
The district attorney of Clinton County, New York confirms that Joyce Mitchell, the prison worker charged with helping two convicted murderers escape from a maximum-security facility, had discussed with them a murder-for-hire plot involving her husband.

Coming soon to your wallet: a re-designed $10 bill that prominently features the face of an American woman.  the Treasury Department is announcing it has begun the process of overhauling the currency, presently graced by Alexander Hamilton, as part of a planned security upgrade to all bills.  The winning woman will be announced at a later date.  The new bills are slated to enter circulation in 2020.

Only three vehicles out of 100 tested were rated good in terms of how easy it is to install a child seat.  The ratings from the Insurance Insitute for Highway Safety focus on how easy it is for parents to install child restraints using LATCH, which stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children.

NY TERROR
The FBI arrested a New York man who came at counterterrorism agents with a knife. The agents were conducting a search at a home on Staten Island in connection with an alleged ISIS sympathizer who was arrested in Queens.

AT&T FINED
AT&T Mobility LLC has been slapped with a record $100 million fine for offering consumers "unlimited" data, but then slowing their Internet speeds after they reached a certain amount. AT&T says it will vigorously dispute the fine.

INTEREST RATES
The Federal Reserve is keeping interest rates at historic lows a little while longer. Fed Chair Janet Yellen admits that some key economic milestones have been reached ... but that the Central Bank is still waiting for everything to line up .. before bumping up rates.

House Republicans plan another vote on the trade deal that Democrats scuttled less than a week ago.

IRAQ
Secretary of Defense Ash Carter admitted to lawmakers that the fight against ISIS in Iraq is being hampered by the lack of recruits for the Iraqi Army, and the U-S will fall way short of meeting its goal of training 24,000 Iraqi forces by this fall.

CO THEATER SHOOTING TRIAL
A 5th juror has now been dismissed in the trial of theater shooter James Holmes. The judge and defense attorneys had concerns over the juror after a witness who was testifying said she recognized a juror.
